Cumulative Voting

Additional information on implementation -

At the League of Women Voters Annual Convention, the decision was made to advocate for Ranked Choice Voting. Changing to Ranked Choice Voting would eliminate the need for run-off elections. Join us to discuss how it works and what the benefits of moving to it could be.

Help Us Inform Voters

For more than 50 years, voters in the City of Richardson and the Richardson ISD have relied upon the League of Women Voters of Richardson for information about city council and school board elections.

During local election season, we are uniquely able to serve our community by providing timely, accurate, LOCAL, nonpartisan election information.

Please help us out by sharing with friends and neighbors the fact that our website has all the information they need to vote responsibly in all elections, including LOCAL elections.  Sharing our Facebook and Twitter posts also greatly increases voters’ awareness of our resources.

Our government institutions can only represent the will of the voters if people actually go out and cast an informed vote for the people who will represent them.  You can help by making sure voters you know have access to the information they need.
