The City of Richardson (COR) City Council, COR Bond, and the Richardson ISD (RISD) Board of Trustees Elections are coming up.
- Early Voting is April 24 through May 2.
- Election Day is May 6.
Before you vote, do your homework! Learn about the candidates. But, how?
- Attend LWVR's forum for RISD Board of Trustees candidates running in Single-Member District 3 and At-Large Place 6 (the only RISD races on the ballot) this Monday, April 17, at 7pm in the RISD Administration Building auditorium.
- Attend LWVR's forum for COR City Council candidates. All 7 COR places will be on the ballot. However, only candidates with an opponent (Mayor (Place 7) and Places 1, 3, and 5) were invited to participate in the forum. The forum will be this Thursday, April 20, at 7pm, in the Eisemann Center's Bank of America Theatre.
- Go to the League's online Voters Guide at VOTE411.org to see the RISD and COR candidates' responses to about 20 questions. The online guide also summarizes the COR Bond and what people are saying about the Bond.
- See LWVR's printed Voters Guide on our website. The printed Voters Guide contains the summary of the COR Bond as well as selected questions/responses from the online Voters Guide. The printed Voters Guides will be available at public locations on Tuesday, April 18.
- For those who live in Collin County, videos of forums for Plano ISD and Collin College Trustee races can be found here. . .
